Lake James
Morganton, North Carolina

A woodland jewel in the Blue Ridge foothills, Lake James is
dedicated
to environmental stewardship and outdoor recreation.
Description
Surrounded by state forests and separated into distinct settlements,
Crescent Communities on Lake James is a recreation-minded community that
pays tribute to the rare and sensitive eco-systems that create its
special appeal.

Major steps have been taken to preserve the stunning
natural environment.
To protect the area’s clean waters, mountain terrain and abundant
wildlife, developers have worked with conservation and environmental
organizations to establish covenants requiring homes and structures to
blend seamlessly with the natural environment.
Where possible, planners left large areas of undisturbed land between
homesites. Setbacks on waterfront lots exceed most state and local
requirements.

The Blue Ridge foothills provide dramatic views.

or enjoy an evening movie at the Camp’s outdoor amphitheatre.
