Life in Legendary Lowcountry
Located between Beaufort and Hilton Head Island, Oldfield is a new
golf course community that overlooks a spectacular horseshoe bend in the Okatie
River deep in South Carolina's legendary Lowcountry. Its 860 acres
overflow with the magnificent moss-draped live oaks and dramatic marsh vistas for which this area is
known.

Couched along the Oaktie River, Oldfield reflects The Lowcountry
way of life.
Oldfield is truly unique in the area, its residents are quick to
point out. Not only is the community home to the only Greg Norman golf course in the Lowcountry, but Oldfield is set apart by the recreation offered on the Okatie River, as well as traditional Lowcountry architecture and a sincere dedication to Southern hospitality and service.
Residents get to know each other at many community activities such as
the annual Homecoming events.
A greeter welcomes residents and guests to Oldfield 24 hours a day and just inside
the community gate, The Greeter's Store is a natural gathering place for owners. Residents will stop here to pick up their mail,
buy a loaf of bread or enjoy an ice cream cone. The Greeter's Store is a genuine step back in time, complete with rocking chairs, a pot-bellied stove, RC Colas and Moon Pies.
With homesites ranging from $150,000 to $850,000 and homes from the
$500,000s, Oldfield truly offers an inviting community and uncommon way of life
with a total of 550 homesites and just 375 golf memberships.

The sun casts a long shadow over the 14th green.
Championship Golf by Greg Norman
"We dream of getting a site like this one," says a smiling Greg Norman
about Oldfield. Since this was Norman's first course in the Lowcountry, he wanted to make it something special. From all indications, Norman, who visited the site eight times during construction, has done just that.
The course winds across broad savannas of broomgrass and palmetto up to the expansive marshes of the Okatie River. With five sets of tees, Oldfield is highly playable, as well as scenic.

The River House has a grand, yet understated, Lowcountry style.
Waterfront Activities
Activity on the water will be a part of everyday life, and all residents will share in the rare and beautiful resource that is the Okatie River. At
the Outfitters Center, for example, the River Pro leads residents in sea kayaking,
shrimping, canoeing and fly-fishing. Community docks provide boat access and day mooring.
Oldfield's comprehensive trail system winds throughout the property, affording a great opportunity to experience nature while walking, running or biking. Children and grown-ups alike can learn about the area's fascinating flora and fauna at the Nature Lab and Library with the help of Oldfield's Naturalist.
Other amenities include six tennis courts, pro shop, outdoor pool, indoor lap pool, fitness
center, and a children's game room.

The Okatie River provides plenty of waterfront activities.
The River House
The River House, a meticulously restored historic home overlooking the Okatie River, is Oldfield's main clubhouse. Here, residents
enjoy authentic Lowcountry fare for lunch and dinner, relax in the members'
bar and host receptions and other celebrations for friends and family.
For the next few years, the River House will also provide bed-and-breakfast accommodations for members and their guests. Nearby, Oldfield's
River Cottages
are now available as well.
Wigg's Bluff
Wigg's Bluff is a spectacular 10-acre island that borders the Okatie River on the northeastern shore of Oldfield and offers all residents access to the river. Anchored by The River House, Outfitters Center and a massive oak tree dubbed "The Oldfield Angel Oak," Wigg's Bluff will boast a
wonderful riverfront experience of camellia gardens, walking paths, cottages and community docks. It
will also offer some of Oldfield's most spectacular homes and homesites.

The porch on the River House overlooks the Okatie River.
The River Cottages
Close by The River House and offering dramatic views of the Okatie River, The River Cottages at Oldfield add yet another dimension to Lowcountry living. Its
Camellia, Gardenia and Dogwood models are ideal for families and friends enjoying weekends, vacations, holidays and other special times together.
At the heart of each cottage is a spacious living and dining area which gives way to an equally spacious screened porch. While the kitchen and master bedroom are part of each cottage's main house, each of the other bedrooms is a private cabin in and of itself. Each is connected to the main house by walkways and porches, and each has its own private screened porch and keyed entry.
Metal roofs and antique pine floors are only two highlights of these appealing second-home retreats.
The River Cottages are available for purchase or may be rented through the Oldfield Club. For more
